From the time the Colorado ZR2 debuted in the series, 434 vehicles have raced in all 11 competitions. Of all these vehicles, only four completed each race, including the Colorado ZR2. The races have not only shown the durability of the Colorado ZR2 but have also helped Chevrolet develop better off-roading parts.

The Colorado ZR2 has made improvements, evident by its racing time. In its’ first Vegas to Reno race in 2017, the truck finished with a total time of 18 hours and 51 minutes. In the 2018 Vegas to Reno, the truck was able to finish in 14 hours and 34.5 minutes the next year.
