The Cadillac brand is world-renowned for its impeccable luxury, inspired designs, and impressive performance, which is why its first-ever all-electric vehicle has to be special. The stunning 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ EV — which was designed to make owners “feel like they’re driving in the future” — was recently revealed to the world, and it’s definitely a keeper.
The LYRIQ is efficient, but it also packs a powerful punch under the hood. This electric SUV sits on an Ultium-powered rear-wheel drive platform that can produce 325 lb-ft of torque and has an output of 340 horsepower.
Cadillac’s very first EV is compatible with ultra-fast DC charge stations across the nation and can regenerate up to 76 miles of range in roughly 10 minutes. The LYRIQ has a total range of over 300 miles, and can be charged at home in about six hours.
The LYRIQ comes with a number of impressive technologies baked in, including Regen on Demand, which lets you use the EV’s regenerative braking to your advantage to build up a charge. The LYRIQ will also offer Super Cruise, Cadillac’s groundbreaking semi-autonomous driver assistance technology that lets you drive hands-free on many major highways across North America.
The 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ will be available to order at Cadillac of Santa Fe this fall, with first availability expected next spring.
