The Cadillac XT6 is one of the newest additions to the Cadillac lineup. It was first introduced in 2020 with only two trim levels. Now, for the 2021 model year, the XT6 will be even more accessible with the addition of a new Luxury trim level.
The Luxury model is the new base trim level. It will add affordable luxury to the XT6 lineup with premium features at a lower cost. A new standard engine will make its XT6 debut on the Luxury trim. It will feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The more-powerful 310-horsepower V6 will still come standard on the Premium Luxury and Sport models.
Inside, the XT6 has three rows of seats for either seven or eight passengers. It also comes standard with features like an 8-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, wireless smartphone charging, and 4G LTE Wi-Fi® capabilities.
The XT6 also delivers safety and security. The new base Luxury trim comes standard with a wide range of driver-assist features like automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist.
Cadillac has not given us a specific release date; however, the XT6 is expected to arrive at Chevrolet Cadillac of Santa Fe later this year.
