Automotive research firm and car search engine iSeeCars.com’s recent study of 15.8 million pre-owned cars found Chevrolet cars performing well above average, in terms of reaching 200,000 miles driven. As a whole, 1.4 percent of Chevrolet cars mentioned in the study reached 200,000 miles, placing Chevrolet fourth among 18 manufacturers and above the 1 percent average.
Chevrolet Suburban and Chevrolet Tahoe
The Chevrolet Suburban ranked fourth for full-size SUVs, with 4.9 percent of Suburbans studied reaching 200,000 miles. The Chevrolet Tahoe is close behind, at sixth, with 4.1 percent of vehicles reaching this distance. Both vehicles soar above the 0.9 percent average in their category, and are also the fourth and sixth highest-ranking vehicles overall.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500
The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ranked fourth in the pick-up truck category, with 2 percent of Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models reaching 200,000 miles driven. It was also the highest-ranking American pickup truck on the list.
The Chevrolet Impala ranked eighth in the passenger car category with 1.8 percent over 200,000 miles — over twice the 0.7 percent average — and was the highest-ranking American passenger car.
